Heroes of the subway

The series Heroes from the subway was launched in 2023 in honor of the mural in the underpass on Demeloch Street in Český Těšín, created by Klaudie Švrčková in 2022. This project has become a symbol of the connection of art with urban space and proof that even an ordinary place can carry a strong visual and emotional story and change the mood of people in the city. The series follows the original work, namely the silhouettes of famous personalities processed in the pop art style, and transforms them into paintings.
